Author DL Sparks "ALL THAT GLITTERS'
APhenomenal, a
page turner within itself...A
Phenomenal, a page
turner within itself, and you want believe
the ending. Once you get past the story
developing at the beginning Nathanial Portis
creates a story about Kayla a newly college
graduate who moves to a large city and meets
Dean Reeves. Now of course a powerful rich
millionaire like himself is married, but
that didn't stop Kayla and Dean from
starting a love affair. Like any other
mistress Kayla believed she could make Dean
leave his wife, but she would become his ten
year fool, hanging on to the dream of making
him all hers. Married to a Married Man is
not only believable it is relatable to those
men and women who choose to have a on going
affair believing that the ending will be a
fairy tale. The ending of this love story
will shock you, make you questions their
motives, and lastly leave you stunned with
unanswered questions. Four and a half stars
to Mr. Portis a true story teller. I
wouldn't wait to read this one.

very good Book
Nathanial Portis presents a Book
that takes on a Familar theme of a
Relationship that is pretty much what it
is. Kayla Brown falls for a Married and
Rich Executive which mirrors storys so
often told, but this Book and the Writer
Portis adds twists and turns. can a Young
Successful Single Mother be content at
being Number 2? this Book is well paced
and deals with so many challenges, but yet
the situation remains the same. Portis is
a very Good writer and the way this Book
ends will make you want more. very much on
point and relateablee.

Unhappily Ever After
Married To A Married Man by
Nathaniel Portis
Nathaniel Portis' Married to a Married Man
introduces you to Kayla Brown; sexy,
attractive and just graduated from Howard
University. She is a single mother with the
world at her fingertips and she cannot wait to
begin to use what she has to get what she
wants. In her mind, she is in control and
control is what will quickly get her to the
top of the corporate ladder.
Kayla quickly becomes enamored with the power
and intrigue of Dean Reeves, a wealthy and
married businessman who runs one of the most
powerful companies in Texas. She sees the
executive's passes as a way to the top, not
realizing that she will be stepping into a
whirlwind of misery and regret that will span
a decade
Kayla's forbidden relationship takes a toll
not only on her body, but her mind. And now
ten years older, she tires of being number two
and is ready to pull out all the stops to
secure that number one spot. Dean, however,
has other plans, setting into motion a series
of events that not even Kayla can control.
Nathanial Portis gives us a glimpse into a
world that is all too common. The book was a
fast-paced read that held my attention and the
cliff-hanger ending will leave fans wanting
more of this talented writer. I was very
impressed with how Mr. Portis captured the
emotion of all the characters and relayed them
in a way that I could relate to them. Readers
will definitely enjoy this quick and
refreshing read.

I 'It was a
Friday when I heard about "Things in Between" and I
bought it with my last few dollars. It was well
worth it. I was captured by the great story. All my
awake time, when I wasn't doing weekend chores, I
was unceasingly reading the book. Books like these
make TV a second Choice"

''The author
accurately paints the financial dilemma many college
students endure--the challenge of maintaining
passing grades while holding down a part-time job.
Portis also weaves in an element of suspense that
will keep you on the edge of your seat. He's
definitely an author to watch and I look forward to
reading his future works.

' 'Things IN
Between is an engaging fast paced read. I was hooked
from page one. With real life situations, Mr. Portis
created characters that made you feel their pain. He
showed how one could make it despite the odds that
are stacked against them. I l loved Cameron's
character. Reviewer Peaches |
